Cogenesis IT Consulting is a rapidly growing company that provides full circle corporate IT services to businesses Australia wide.
We are seeking a candidate who is a team player, has great problem solving skills and can deal with clients in a confident professional manner. 
Ultimately we require the successful applicant to have a minimum of 1 years previous experience in a business grade network environment and be highly proficient in Microsoft server applications.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Windows 2000/2003 server (installation, Disaster recovery, maintenance)
  • Exchange 2000/2003
  • Microsoft desktop 2000/XP/Vista
  • Active directory management (group policy WSUS etc)
  • TCP/IP knowledge including VPN and excellent troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience in the implementation of Internet circuits (*DSL, Ethernet, Fibre).
  • The successful candidate must be able to identify and resolve any given network outage on the LAN or WAN
  • The candidate should be very familiar with firewall technologies and concepts.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision.

HIGHLY DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Exposure to VoIP PBX systems
  • Linux setup, admin & understanding of Linux server concepts in practice with Microsoft networks

C#  ASP.NET Developer

Cogenesis IT Consulting provides full circle corporate IT services to businesses Australia wide with specialisations in the entertainment, hospitality and gaming industries. 
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join the growing development team. You will be responsible for all phases of the product lifecycle, taking functional specifications from proof-of-concept prototypes to finished production code. 90% of development uses C#, ASP.NET and TLSQL to produce elegant and easy to use user driven applications.  


RESPONSIBILITY OVERVIEW

  • Lead the design and develop of new applications according to specifications from our sales consultants.
  • Explore and use technologies such as AJAX
  • Provide diagnostic support and bug fixing for existing software applications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • University degree - preferably in computer science,  business or information systems
  •  Proven track record of delivery, and can demonstrate past achievements
  •  Good communication skills
  •  Ability to produce quality software under tight time constraints
  • 2+ years experience in a commercial software development environment
  • Must have  minimum 2+ years experience with C#, ASP.NET and TLSQL

Sales Coordinator

An opportunity exists to work in an ever expanding IT consultancy based in the CBD.

To be successful you must have an ability to sell over the phone, strong customer service experience, an enthusiastic and professional phone manner, and some PC skills.

Extensive training in IT and Sales provided!

Based on exceeding targets, opportunities will exist for more permanent senior account management and business development roles.

Hours are flexible, but minimum required are 6 hrs per day, minimum 1 day per week.
